Gannon's Point of View... on Wednesday, January 07, 2009 10:22:31 PM
Well it's funny to me... Different I suppose!
The RNC chairman position is up for the grabbing and guess who wants it?
It's not new news that Ken Blackwell has had his eyes on such high place. First
the running for Governor in Ohio and now to Chairman of the Republican National
Committee. Right now I've got my eye on the Chairman of the College Republicans
in Ohio. I know it's reachable; but I and Ken must understand that
"Patience is a virtue..."
One thing’s for sure is that if Ken wants to win this "High-Ground" he's
going to have to proof not why Mike Steele shouldn't be chairman but why HE
should be the chairman. Proofing that his vision and his fine line of work is
good enough to lead the "R's" this year and the next and the next.
Stay positive Ken! You can win...
If Ken ever needed it, than he's got my endorsement! Mother
Theresa once said that "Small things done with great love will
change the world" Republicans have a new race now. No, not with
Democrats but within themselves. Republicans must be the party of unity and understandability.
We must be the party of agreement and open-mindedness.
Ken understands the importance of increasing our outreach to young and first time voters who will be making formative choices in the next few elections that will shape their voting habits for the rest of their lives. We cannot afford to continue to ignore an entire generation of voters. Ken also understands that we must increase our capabilities online if we’re going to inform and persuade voters effectively and remain competitive with Internet and email fundraising.
